Example project demonstrating transparent JWE end-to-end encryption with the jEAP JWE starter and client.

The jEAP JWE starter provides transparent JSON Web Encryption (JWE) based end-to-end encryption for jEAP Spring Boot services, backed by HashiCorp Vault for key management. Its frontend companion, the jEAP JWE client, is an Angular library that transparently encrypts requests and decrypts responses in the browser. This repository provides a self-contained system (SCS) example showing both libraries working together with jEAP security (OAuth2) and the jEAP web configuration starter. It contains the following modules: * jme-jwe-scs: A self-contained system consisting of a Spring Boot backend using the jEAP JWE starter and an Angular/Oblique frontend using the jEAP JWE client * jme-jwe-auth-scs: An instance of the OAuth mock server used as authorization server * jme-jwe-test: Automated integration tests covering the local Docker Compose setup
