Short description
Example project demonstrating the jEAP Process Archive Service (PAS).
Long description
This example shows how a microservice can archive artifacts into an S3-compatible object store using the jEAP Process Archive Service (PAS). A resource service publishes domain events/commands over Kafka, a PAS instance consumes them and archives the artifacts with object-lock, encryption via Vault, and optional OpenSearch indexing. The repository contains the following modules: * jme-process-archive-events: thin builder classes around the Avro message types used by this example * jme-process-archive-resource-service: owns the example domain (Decree, DecreeDocument, Diagram, Declaration) and publishes the corresponding events/commands to Kafka
- jme-process-archive-service: the PAS instance, contributing plugin implementations and configuration * jme-process-archive-inspection-service: REST access to archived objects in the object store * jme-process-archive-auth-scs: authenticates users/clients for the protected PAS APIs
Features
- Demonstrates Event Carried State Transfer and Event Notification archiving styles
- Demonstrates encryption via Vault and object-lock retention in an S3-compatible object store
- Demonstrates optional OpenSearch indexing of archived artifacts
- Demonstrates the backfill mechanism for archiving artifacts retroactively
