ckanext-ogdchcommands is a plugin/extension for CKAN that provides a collection of maintenance and operational command-line utilities for managing CKAN instances. It supports tasks such as cleaning up obsolete harvest jobs and sources, publishing scheduled datasets, removing stale or unused files and metadata, inspecting recent dataset activity, and verifying dataset indexing. The extension is intended to support stable operation, data quality and ongoing maintenance of CKAN-based open data platforms. Most commands have a dryrun-option for safe execution. Executing those jobs on a regular basis, according to the needs of the portal, can improve reliability and efficient operation.
